Hey guys,
Are you still wondering why you have acne even you wash
your face every day?
3 most influential reasons to make you understand why
You might think that wash the face when
you feel it is oily, so it might happen that you wash your face more than one
or two times in a day. Yet, as much as you wash your face, as worse as your
skin condition can be. Your brain has a system that tells you to produce oil to
protect your skin from dirt. Once your wash your face, your brain tells that “produce
oil.” Repeat and repeat again, your brain will start to produce extra oil on
your skin, which means your face will get more oil than it original should be.
Therefore, how can we stop this situation? It's simple. "Just stop washing your face more
than two times a day." Once your brain adopts this habit, it will not produce
extra oil for your skin anymore.
#2: Wrong product for your face
Have you ever examined your skin
condition before you purchase the product? When you go to convenient store
(i.e. Safeway, CVS, etc.), they only provide couple facial cleansers for men
from different brand. Those products don’t have that much description, such as
oily skin, dry skin, or mix-condition. I believe that more than 50% of the
products for men from convenient store are too harsh. I suggest that go for
some more professional skin care store (i.e. Keihl’s), and find out what facial
cleanser is match with your skin condition
#3: Water temperature is important
Cold water makes your pores tight
together, when you wash your face, you cannot wash the dirt off completely. How
about hot water? Big NO NO!! Hot water is too much for your skin. It does help
pores open, but it takes away too much oil from your face. It means that your
brain will produce extra oil (as we mention in the first point). Therefore, warm
water is the best (around 35°C/95°F).
It is never late for you to start taking care of your skin.
